I don't understand this Completionist charity scam situation that is going around right now. So they ran charity events for a decade and collected money stating they were donating it to research institutes but didn't pay it out. Instead it just sat in a bank account. But what benefit do they get by doing that? Is it some tax write off scam or some way of using the charities bank account as collateral for some type of loan? It's very bizarre. -

@SapientPearwood I love channels/videos like this. I follow a couple that tour the nation doing street views of the worst neighborhoods and a couple others that will do video essays where they explore shit falling apart. 20 years ago if you talked about urban decay people would bring up a select few examples like Detroit or Gary Indiana but these days it seems like so many metro areas are just straight up collapsing. -

@echo I was just watching reports of San Fran spending money to clean up the city for APEC this week and couldn't stop laughing at the thought that they'll let homeless drug addicts shit on the sidewalks and applaud them but then hide that only when visitors from other nations come by. How the local population isn't furious about that is beyond me. -

After Mersh recently had his cat shit induced horse seizure it made me wonder how that Porsalin documentary is doing. Broke his top ten videos (Almost all of which are 3 to 4 years old compared to Mersh's which is only a year old) and is currently sitting at number 9 and rising. -

Brought up how it was similar to arc flashes welders deal with and said that usually the eyes recover in a few days and you can get some basic meds to help with the pain until then. Still amazed someone fucked up like this Apparently this is the second time it's happened at a Hong Kong event. I wonder if they used the same supplier as the other event. -
