@coolboymew @hj yeah a lot processes need to be lainched at boot or things have to be done which are basically just a series of commands
Sysv was ditched because it was basically just shell scripts and that can overcomplocate and the way it is done is slow af
Systemd is hated because it did too much bloat™ and had some bad™ decisions and typical redhatware

tbh you should use any other init system than that; openrc/s6 based ones
Idk how really sysV scripts are organised and I think its distro specific
