@supersid333@AstolfoCockVore@Gronsak@LoliHat@MordredSimp@Ronnie21093@kilostere I bought a 1999 Buick LeSabre that wasn't even in good condition for $2000 in May 2015 and only replaced it last month. The used car market is pretty dog shit right now, but for in town commuting you can still find decent older cars for a couple grand.
@SuperSnekFriend@poopernova Weiss merchandise is always the most popular by a significant margin. Ruby is a distant second, Yang third, and I don't even think anyone buys Blake stuff.
Since we’re entering the height of summer soon, I’d like to recommend for everyone to read The Willows by Algernon Blackwood. One of his most well-known stories, it’s an excellent example of short-form supernatural horror fiction which greatly inspired the genre in the early 1900s and was a particular influence on H.P. Lovecraft himself, perhaps the genre’s most famous author. You can read it on Project Gutenberg (https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/11438), or elsewhere online as it’s public domain. Anyone with an interest in horror fiction who hasn’t read it should absolutely do so. If you find you enjoy it, I’d also suggest Ancient Sorceries for another summery tale, or The Wendigo and The Glamour of the Snow for a more wintry vibe if you need to take your mind off the heat.
@hellhammer666 It cracks me up whenever I see someone say we were "in the middle of a pandemic" in 2022. I thought we all stopped pretending coronavirus was real in like mid 2021
