2) USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter (not from Apple, some no name junk from vending machine)

3) iRig Pre 2 - a gadget Made in Italy, not just designed there, it connects to above via 3.5 mm Jack that it has

4) 3.5 mm DJ Monitoring headphones that connects to No. 3

5) any XLR microphone that connects to No. 3

Result: works fine, only problem: no limiter in No. 3 so distortions if too loud:
