   @CSB Really disappointing to see the New Yorker fall for the alt-right trap like this smdh they obviously want to use mass shortages of vital infrastructure workers as a way to keep large numbers of white cismales in positions of power and influence. we cant let them hold our democracy hostage after they elected trump, only complete deconstruction of the field can give us REAL progress

   It’s not enough to say we need electricians - it leaves too much wiggle room for what ADL researcher Ben Adel-Meloch called “the murmuring racism of of the white middle class” - we should be using the dearth of electricians as a chance to deconstruct working-class industries and rebuild them with EQUITY as the biggest, most important consideration.

   This headline, if it were written by actual ALLIES, would focus on minimizing the training of more CisHet scum and building the workforce with majority BIPOC/Female electricians!!!! If we dont then well end up with fascism forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
