I've got mirrors!

Also the finished staircase as promised.

I've got curtains in the bedroom now too, and some "new" cabinets, a new shelf and more hooks in the bathroom.

I brushed the metal staircase with a wire brush and now I'm about to paint it pink

This is as far as I got. Tired now.

Got a new hanger

I worked on the rooftop deck today. Yesterday I added some shelves and a cupboard in the yard.

Got curtains in the living room.

But not all of them were the right size and at some places the equipment was too high to fit a pallet above them, so I need to create custom decking.

I think the various styles and shapes will look like a nice puzzle in the end but jury's still out. I also got a few outdoor metal closets to store stuff.

Note here that I was listening to #2ClownsInACloset while assembling the closet.

I believe the clowns are still in there, I haven't heard of them since.

(I'm joking, I did)

Anyway, it's slow going because two hands, but I've completed what it seems like 40% of the area.

Today's progress stopped early because I overheated and had to sit in front of a fan to cool down.

Another mirror installed and I'm done with vanity for now.

I've reached the point of detail work. Painted the filling to look like the adjacent tiles.

I just realized I've never shown you this corner. What an omission.

I'm working on the rooftop deck these days. In order to keep the interior looking retro, I avoided installing regular household a/c's and I installed ducted units on the roof. Thus inside you can only see the duct grilles.

So the roof was inaccessible due to all the machinery and ducts. I started collecting pallets from the streets to use as decking.

Oof, long day but good progress. In anticipation of two more closets hopefully arriving tomorrow I expanded the level area of the roof significantly.
