@cjd It honestly makes sense from an evolutionary and biological standpoint. You want smart and healthy children, so what is commonly deemed as "beautiful" indicates that they have healthy genes.

@beardalaxy Mother 1 talked about Giygas's backstory, being an alien raised by humans and his adoptive father experimenting on him which gave him a negative view on humanity.

Early builds of the game were leaked just a few years ago. It probably demoralized him.

There is also another Mother 4 being developed. This one is being developed using Love2D which might mean it has a better chance of coming out.

@beardalaxy I was talking about focusing on local and state elections, maybe even getting involved in local politics. Something as simple as getting your local city to remove fluoride from the drinking water will have a better impact that voting for the next president every 4 years.

Also remember that the 10th amendment exists which means that state and sometimes even local governments have the right not to enforce unconstitutional laws.

Mother 3 seems to be disconnected from the first two games, at first, but the main antagonist is revealed to be Porky from Mother 2 after time traveling to an unknown era. It isn't much of a spoiler because the ending of Mother 2 basically hinted that he would play a major role in the third game.

Mother 3 probably has more ties to Mother 2 than Mother 2 had ties to Mother 1. Mother 2 might as well be a retelling of the first game. The only evidence of it being a direct sequel is the first part of the game where it says "Gigyas Strikes Back".

I really hope Oddity eventually releases, despite me not being that much of a Mother fan. I really dig the 1970s aesthetic.

@beardalaxy Well Sakurai did pass the torch of his column on Famitsu to him. It seems like Toby Fox is now his closest friend in the industry since Iwata passed away.

He's also friends with Itoi as well. A lot of people don't realize this, but Toby Fox actually asked Itoi if he could make Mother 4. Itoi told him to make Deltarune first, so we might actually see an official Mother 4 one day, and I honestly rather not. Some series were made to be short. Mother is definitely one of them.

I don't know how true this is, but apparently, Toby Fox said that he will cancel Deltarune if Trump wins.

@beardalaxy I bet the feds has something in store, regardless who "wins". It could be a simple as a riot or something on the scale of the OKC bombing.

@Tadano @inTrax ZeroNet is DEAD. The creator gave up on it after the failed 8chan bunker incident. I wouldn't recommend using it because I don't know how many people are still moderating their sites.

@LukeAlmighty Sleeping bag + 2 blankets.

Added a third boss, which can be hit anywhere except head-on.

You may notice a glitch around 00:35. I have no idea how that happened. The sword is still in it's place after the last thrust but it sets the "active" flag to false when not in use, so it shouldn't be detecting collision.

@icedquinn Like I said, they were probably the diamonds in the rough. Also, I bet the best personal websites of that time were either self-hosted or hosted on a better provider which at least had server-side scripting for things like a guestbook.
