"Assisted dying" Is it just me or is it mostly women going under this? I've heard of a woman with psychological issues of depression getting put to death and now an autistic woman with ME. I thought this assisted dying was for people who were physically very bad off to the point where dying would be more beneficial but we're seeing cases of psychological issues. Does anyone know the gender statistics and why nobody is trying to change their mind but instead yeah okay! Is this going to be one of those things where if someone tries to change their mind that person will be treated like the one that lacks compassion?
I knew this assisted dying would be used for what it wasn't originally intended. How awful. So are they going to start killing people more and more if they are struggling with anything? They always claim things will be used for just this purpose over here and get everyone to agree with it at first but then they start using it for other reasons. Here is one case from the summer where a hospital brings up assisted suicide to a depressed suicidal woman.
