@MK2boogaloo Why I moved off Twitter tbh. The algorithm kept feeding me content it knew would get a rise out of me and one day it just clicked that the art I was seeing wasn't worth the blood pressure spiking amounts of anger it was making me experience.

@MK2boogaloo @Gerfand @Groomschild @SuperSnekFriend Freiren Demons are all clinical psychopaths. Just because Aura could be basically strong armed into defying her nature doesn't mean she's going to agree with or really truly change as a result of the compulsion.
Also Demons in japanese media are generally more specifically Yokai. Unlike western Demons which are all unquestionably evil through connotation of being related to the devil and hell, Yokai are much more neutrally regarded and also encompass other things like misc types of natural spirits and cryptids. They're all the types of monstrous and inhuman creatures you wouldn't normally regard as divine beings, and some that are also such.
