    There are two possible realities here.
    1) graf is outright lying about my servers having CSAM, which is perhaps one of the most despicable things imaginable for someone in his position to say, or
    2) graf knows about CSAM being silently hosted somewhere I do not know about and refuses to communicate where for some reason, which is perhaps one of the most despicable things imaginable for someone in his position to do.

    I'm going to go with 1 because I really doubt any material like that would fly under the radar considering how aggressive users are reporting on the forum.

    It's extremely sad to see him behave this way and I hope he overcomes whatever his current condition is.

    Cisco Umbrella (+ OpenDNS) and Quad9 still censor A records for the <kiwifarms.net> domain, meaning they refuse to resolve the domain without informing their customer that they are actively refusing to do so.

    If you're a customer of either of these services you should complain.

    The file server which stores attachments was compromised and all live version of files have been replaced with a 3kb file of some kid on Twitter taking credit for it. I'm closing the site to audit the attack. I'll update this message as I learn more.

    12:43pm - The impact is much smaller than I expected. I am now revaluating what has happened. It does not appear the fileserver itself is compromised.

    1:00pm - I've only found two video files that have been changed to the corrupted file. I'm not sure how the trick is being done yet.

    1:45pm - I believe I have an idea of how it was done and I'm attempted to recreate it.

    I have confirmed the attack vector, have applied patches to secure the attack, verified the patches individually, and am now working on undoing the damage.

    The attack did not have direct access to the file server but did find a way to replace existing files. No accounts were compromised and the actual damage is relatively small. It was video files in 2 threads, my avatar, and one other video that's used on the registration page.

    I reached out to the attacker and he's not politically motivated, it's just something he did for fun. I opted to give him 5 XMR for confirming my theories of what the vector was.

    Back online ETA 1 or 2 hours.

    Edit: It's literally just some kid, calm down.

    There's some long-term networking stuff I have to figure out, but my next server buy will be something specifically for the KiwiFlare (which will be rebranded soon-ish).

    I have two options for this and I'm debating buying three servers to cluster or one really big server. All I care about is getting as much processing power for incoming HTTPS connections as possible, and I'm not entirely sure if it's more cost effective to get multiple devices with lower end CPUs or a single device with some ridiculous dual CPU.

    I think Cloudflare uses EPYCs.

    Thinking of doing a merch run where I buy a bunch of 50GB M-DISCs (write-once optical discs that supposedly last 1000 years) and filling them as much as possible with an HTML archive of specific threads. The really funny threads, but also people who have desperately tried to delete their threads (Vordrak, Keffals, Liz Fong-Jones, etc).

    I'm up late dealing with a DDoS attack and it gives me pause to remember how absolutely righteous it is to ridicule trannies.

    I cannot think of a single element in our society more destructive and parasitic. I can name many things that trannies and their handmaidens have completely ruined for normal people, but I cannot name a single thing they've created.

    Even in open source software, which we often attribute to autistic troons with rainbow socks, their projects are usually just unproductive dicking around. Rarely is anything ever made. The largest projects, like Rs (formerly R*st), which we lump as just "tranny code", is actually a foundation formed around a bunch of white and asian dudes with mentally ill clinger-ons trying to influence it for various political reasons.

    It startles me how much I've grown to hate them more and more.

    Reiterating this from Telegram so people can see it.

    The site went down last night because I added a new database to the cluster which I was hoping to set up quietly without any downtime. Unfortunately, it caused other databases to crash, which I'm having trouble recovering, because when multiple nodes go down restarting everything is a massive pain in the ass.

    The new node is going to replace this more complicated setup. Over the last month, I've found more sure footing for our physical hardware I have not been able to put into use for over 6 months now. This transfer is to put our hardware back in use so I can stop juggling servers on multiple continents.

    We will still retain redundancy so that if the Kiwi Farms is ever disconnected from the Internet again, there will not be extended downtime. However, the overall topology will be simplified and (hopefully) random crashes like this will stop happening so frequently.

    TL;DR: We're basically right back to where we started in August and the last thing I have to do is get Ol' Faithful running again, which unfortunately means some downtime.

    @crunklord420 I'm pretty sure we do defed pawoo, I warned graf about the lolicon sites, and it wasn't until the global timeline for Poast was literally nothing but CSAM because of pawoo did he believe me.

    I'm so sick of these porn addicted anime avatar faggots trying to say I'm irrational when this happens every single goddamn time. And then they try to hide behind the Hakenkreuz to balance themselves out and become 'based'. Fucking sickening. I'm sure some of them are paid to do it at this point.
