It's Rick Parks Admiration Day, again.
No scanning; done by hand in Deluxe Paint on an Amiga.

For those that don't know Rick's name, you likely know his work very well. He worked at Westwood Studios and worked on Eye of the Beholder I & 2, Dune 2, Kyrandia and other classics.

Rick died in 1996, 7 years after creating this image.

@1024Bytes I've heard about it & read about it. But (knock on wood) after all these years, I've never experienced it personally. Talk about winning the lottery!

@vorlaser Yes, it's a SyQuest drive that sounds like a mini jet turbine when activated. I use it for storage on only rarely when needed. I have a stack of backups.

For the time, and due to the size of data back then, having a stack of 100MB SCSI Zip Disks felt like virtually unlimited storage. Nothing could stand in our way.
