My entire build failed because it required fetching files/code from Github. I was like, "What is going on? Is Github down?" So I sshed into the EC2 only to discover that Github timed out. I checked the DNS and found that there is no IPv6 record for Github. Lmao. We will never get rid of IPv4 at this rate.

Here is why relying on IPv6-only VMs can be problematic. In 2024, github .com still does not support IPv6, only IPv4. 🤡 I'm now redeploying VM with IPv4 with special IPv4 tax from AWS. Please host your open-source project using modern git services like GitLab or others. GitHub is so outdated. no ipv6. ugh.

UNIX was created back in the day when we couldn't afford vowels, and many consonants. So common commands had to be shortened a little bit:
"Copy" becomes "cp"
"List" becomes "ls"
"Rename" becomes "mv" and so on.

But fear not. Soon systemd will restore the balance with long command names again. This is 2024 and 70's okay?
