@aral why would it include? Did the EU colonize anyone? Get a grip, not everything is about colonialism... this is tiring and counterproductive. The EU is a union of democracies, it's the opposite of what the colonial nationalist states did.

Today is the day for the #EuropeanParliament to pass the #RestoreNature law. This is vital for the protection of #biodiversity, #climate and our ability to live and feed ourselves on this planet. This law is good for #farming and farmers. No nature, no pollinators, no farming.

Unfortunately this piece of legislation is under attack by the far-right, center-right (EPP) and liberals. You still have a couple of hours to pest your MEPs about it.

@aral I honestly don't see the problem of them joining the fediverse and anyway that's something they can do without permission.. Most people here won't leave for them just because they join, but many more people will be able to see what's going on here, and wasn't that the point?

@aral yes but, there's not so much we can do about it. Personally it worries me that Europe cares so much about American politics, precisely because from that worry a huge influence is created.. and there's too much of it already.
