@grips in slovak and czech are ť and ď supposed to always be identical to ち and ぢ ? or do they very with c/j ty/dy ch/dj like theyre being transcribed. dialectical variation? is there still a soft hard system other than ľ. are the soft consonant taking only front vowels? if ľ is the only one does it also take back vowels?

gavjormungund may also be the beaver as below and away from the axis are both chaos/hell/waters, it is a circling gnawing beaver digging a horrible wirlpool(the cree have beavers do these too) eating the tree, digging away the land, the waters that gnaw the roots are just as the waters that carve away the coaste, the infinite waters of the outer ocean
beavers i believe also have a very infectious bite, so venom
this is not just about the cognate for hydra meaning beaver in lithuanian i think, but that the cree have a similar apocalyptic view of beavers causes cosmic floods

gavthe idea of the land floating above the waters, is maybe from the water table, in this way the water is infinitely deep in the sea and under all land; any man may sink into the abyss from a bog, the water may up end any structure, or flood over the land, it rots the roots like fire and venom
