They’re right but not for the reasons they think they are.

@voltagex I’m in support of the option but not a mandate. They probably do a little bit to reduce the likelihood of getting a virus you should be vaxxed to the hilt against by now. The idea that a mask mandate is basic health and safety policy does violence to the idea of a health and safety policy.

@voltagex so it’s a minimum. The only way to avoid Covid, the flu or etc. at conferences is not to go because a conference is the most contagious environment humans have. The best approach is to be vaccinated fully so getting it doesn’t matter.
