htmx is cool and all, but returning HTML directly from a server? idk, sounds a bit experimental.
@charlesroper @chriscoyier good point, but I feel the browser engine war is pretty much lost at this point. Engines have become so huge and complex that it's basically impossible for any "normal" organization to compete with chromium. Sad, yes. But at least the UI is one frontier that's still open.
I'm trying out Arc to see what all the fuzz is about. So far, I really like it! Feels like the first browser to actually innovate on existing UI patterns.
And the "boost" thing (integrated custom CSS/JS) emphasizes user control, a core feature of the web.
