@hermit @Metamedia It does and it isn’t the same ofc I just wanted to point out that being trans seen by asshats as something insulting has been around. Which doesn’t make it better in the least. Quite the opposite. It’s also a bit more than ignorance, bc it speaks to deeply ingrained transphobia already present.
I think the „trans panic“ in the US atm also fuels that to new heights. Nazis like to prey on groups that already have been made vulnerable by society. -
