I knew someone, she seemed awkward, unhappy and just uncomfortable to be around...and then they had an "Ah HA!" moment, and morphed into someone who is strong, funny and hardworking, and now he is creating the life he always wanted.
I had this conversation with a relative the other day too, who also has a friend who metamorphosed into a new them.
I said to my family member, as an often depressed cisgendered person, dang I wish someone would bottle up that kind of joy!
Not that getting there for any of these people was easy but I'm SO glad they became their true selves and I will ALWAYS fight for that!

I mean, 30 years ago even, it wasn't talked about...now it's not only that trans people are "out" but really everyone knows someone...
If they cancel Black people and gay people and trans people and make poverty illegal, they will come for the rest of us sooner or later. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
