just testing out segmented walls. i can make them look prettier, they actually just look segmented because it helps me keep track of them while developing.

i currently like this approach of just removing the lower wall whenever a player is in a room where it would obstruct their view too much. they can only turn the camera about 50 degrees each way, so they'll never actually be able to see the bottom wall of a room anyway.

as much as i want to give players free control over the camera, rpg architect's camera doesn't have collision. because of that, it'll clip into walls. i don't want the player to have to deal with manually zooming in to see specific spots.

i was toying around with fixed camera angles too and i might use that for some key scenes. it's good to know it's an option but i'd also have to remove walls in some instances doing that anyway.

It's got Pokemon Snap lite gameplay where you go and find places to take funny pictures at and you have to get them just right within a certain amount of tries. There are also a bunch of mini games.

@berkberkman @Mr_NutterButter I'm asking for my game's development. In that context, the New Game Plus would mean you can start from scratch with your character and party build, and make different choices along the story to see new scenes play out. Those would be the two main things you'd get out of it. The fact you get to keep your level and are given gear obtainable only by beating the game would essentially just make a second playthrough easier if you wanted to see absolutely everything.

For option A, it would be for finishing up anything you missed and there is the potential to get different endings without having to replay the entire game. You might not be able to get every ending from that point, depending on how much you've already done, but you can change it quite a bit. There are some secrets to hunt for too that might be easier if you're going back to before the ending instead of starting a new game. Though, if you're taking a different route with your new game, you might find things you wouldn't have thought of otherwise!

The game is about 25 hours long for an average playthrough. I did about 2/3 of the raw content in my first full one and it clocked in at about 27 hours. Personally, I would probably want to be kicked back out to the overworld instead of starting a new game with beefy characters, but I'm not really one to play games twice very often anyway so I wanted to get some other perspectives.

@xianc78 idk lol. the funny thing is that i'm native canadian so i can't get benefits in the usa, but if i moved to canada i wouldn't be native enough to get benefits xD

okay so this isn't perfect, but it's decently close. i'm tired of character creators that don't have big, full beards. it's part of the reason why i just play female characters, because i can never find beards that work for my character. they all look like crap.

also, who tf wears beanies like this? it's all i ever see in character creation, these beanies that don't cover ears. i think if i had a bigger beard and the beanie covered my ears this would look much closer to me.

@xianc78 oh I was going to recommend something to you, the pizza place I always go to has two layers of thinner crust put together for their pizza crust. Maybe give that a try.

I think I'll try making myself soon too to see how males look.

The one I like most is probably the last one, and this is a filtered version with less contrast and such. She looks like she came straight out of a Silent Hill 3 cutscene.
