@joinin Decided to try jumping in the deep end. Took most of my day off today and set up a mastodon server! Not sure I did it right yet, but here's hoping...

@joinin There was a reasoning to this too. My original server, run by the awesome folks at @SDF uses a version of Mastodon that doesn't yet support hiding lists from home, and I quickly realized that I very much wanted that feature.

Thought this approach would be better than pestering the SDF admins who are focused on reliable systems rather than chasing the highest version number.
