At a Free Women's Movement (TJA) march commemorating the two latest journalists war crime drone-murdered by Turkey for reporting on its systematic war crimes in its war of aggression in autonomous North and East Syria ("Rojava"), Cîhan Bîlgîn and Nazîm Daşdan, held December 22 (full video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9F76t2kQIs) in Mîdyad of Bakur/SE Turkey, the feminist Jin News (Women News) outlet's journalist Öznur Değer (whose before that latest article, that day, was on that particular war crime) reacted to sexist statement by a cop by telling the cops that "You will be defeated by willpower and truth. This is a continuation of Turkey's clear intentional and systematic past targeting of several journalists for working in the armed conflict area, similar to how it has been bombing mosques, water treatment plants, electricity generation, UN-affiliated school, hospitals, etc, etc.

Development on the matter of sexual misconduct by a cop against journalists protesting the war crime murder of journalists:
An investigation has been launched.

Against the offending cop and co-culpable colleagues, the bare minimum which should be done by any society intending to lay any claim to women's equal value as fellow humans? Nope.

The absolutely justified and excellent statements https://todon.eu/@b9AcE/113699840615807849 by the journalist Öznur Değer are now being investigated as the crime "insulting a state employee", the dictatorship-decree appointed Governor announced.

The Mesopotamian Women Journalists Association commented that "We are against a system which gives gender-based offenses impunity and we will not accept such punishment of journalists. We are with our colleagues".

The journalist who reacted so correctly strongly to cop sexism, Öznur Değer, has now been imprisoned after torture for having committed journalism (see earlier in this thread) while in Turkey which is terrorism.
'While being taken out of the courtroom, she chanted “Free press cannot be silenced” and her mouth was covered by the police.

The journalist was then sent to prison.'
