of course there are two ways a bluetooth headset is connected, and one is "good sound"and the other is "rubbish but with microphone". and you have to choose that somewhere in pulse audio settings. year of linux desktop

this bird is just camping on the feeder and it's really into the fatty food on it. I can't identify it (or take a really good photo), but it's coming there every day now

ok, the new 21:9 MSI screen is nice. could be taller, of course, but it's usable. like, 21:12 would be about the sweet spot

100Hz is also nice, and it's not 4K (but quite fine) so everything just works. 1500R is probably not round enough, viewing angle is not so good on the far edge. it's ok if I move it further away
