I'm watching a "planning your year" webinar by a local poet and organizer in philly. the recording is private, but I'll share some of the notes here.
To start, reflecting on 2022:
1. What went right?
2. What unexpectedly went right?
3. What goals deserved to be picked up on in 2023?
I think the question about what's unexpected is so good! I like to ask this during my facilitation or project work too. There are a lot of times things happen that are unexpected and noticing them is important to incorporating them to a shift in my worldview and growth.
The last question is an interesting framing as well: what *deserves* to be picked up on, like what has been neglected this past year that is important for you to center in your next?
