Now I am just waiting for more data on hardware accelerated video (decode) for Firefox (including video, like YT) and Moonlight before hitting the purchase button.

GPU hardware acceleration for Firefox (just browsing), video decode, etc. must be a very nice thing for usability (speed) and battery life, no?

@mntmn A follow up question: do the Reform Next got a sensor for closing the screen? If yes, I guess it would be a stop gap solution to hibernate (if that is supported?) or just shut down when closing the screen.

If you find anything on Moonlight for hardware decode I would be very interested.

Third thing! How is HW acc. in Firefox or Chrome?

Currently I would need to shut down the laptop every time before putting it in my bag right?

Also, maybe a weird question but I use Moonlight on my laptop to stream/game on my server. I am thinking about hardware acc. decode of the stream - anything you have tried?

@mntmn Yes, but I feel that the lack of suspend is a show stopper for a laptop. Any progress on that front?

I have been following your progress for a while. Love what you are doing. Now with the development of the Reform Next - I wonder if there any features that I would miss from "a normal laptop"? Like will suspend work? GPU acc. in Firefox?

@mntmn , I agree on no mic. I guess most people use headset for calls anyway? Camera with kill-switch is very nice tho (saw your other post). I prefer using a headset, but I don’t want to carry around a webcam.
