You should have come to MY games. My neighbor, who my parents car pooled with, had a psycho dad who was determined to get his kids a sports scholarship.
I remember him yelling at his kid, "You're no son of mine!" when he played poorly.
He often got into yelling matches with other hot headed dads. His wife was a former beauty queen who wore a bikini and high heels to the games.
When he'd drive us home, he'd yell at his kid the entire time. I was just hoping for a post-game Dairy Queen trip. -

A chiropractor once tried to pull this shit on me. I was having some back problems so he did imaging, then used a bunch of scary language about disk degeneration and tried to schedule me for 2x a week visits. No talk of any end point or how we determine progress or success
Fuck all that shit. I do have some lower back osteoarthritis and used to suffer from sciatica. Guess what cured the sciatica? Hip stretches and hip strengthening. None of this was suggested to me or done by medical professionals. I did it to throw better kicks and a side effect was 95 percent improvement in pain and discomfort. -
