Any kind of therapist, physical and otherwise, should be able to define success for you.
If a doctor can't answer the question, "what determines a successful ending to therapy?" then he's a quack who just wants to mik you for money
A chiropractor once tried to pull this shit on me. I was having some back problems so he did imaging, then used a bunch of scary language about disk degeneration and tried to schedule me for 2x a week visits. No talk of any end point or how we determine progress or success
Fuck all that shit. I do have some lower back osteoarthritis and used to suffer from sciatica. Guess what cured the sciatica? Hip stretches and hip strengthening. None of this was suggested to me or done by medical professionals. I did it to throw better kicks and a side effect was 95 percent improvement in pain and discomfort.

Thanks to all these stories about therapists and my experience with them, i rather go to a priest or unload my woes to my best friend or a random bar patron than go to one of those leftoid priests
