My daughter took a job as an asst teacher at a Montessori school in October 2023. Since that time she has been infected on the job with hand, foot and mouth disease, norovirus, RSV, and now she has COVID.

Thankfully she was boosted about 2 weeks ago - after she recovered from RSV. She’s missed so much work (unpaid) and her poor body has been through hell.

I want to go bang some heads together. Sick kids are allowed to come to school unmasked.

Time for a better job perhaps. This is ridiculous!

I'm hearing on the streets that in our 'free country,' you're not allowed to criticize #Netanyahu in any way, shape or form for anything he says or does or you will be canceled - even if you're Jewish.

My daughter just canceled her 2024 birthright trip. My accountant canceled his annual Tel Aviv vacation. My friend canceled her Jerusalem art exhibition. None canceled out of fear. All canceled on principle. We can cancel you too, Bibi the Butcher. Jews are not a monolith.

A #Washington hospital gave my mom, a #cancer patient, #COVID. Most people in the ED were unmasked, incl healthcare /staff. We were masked. A nurse removed my mom’s mask to take an oral temp and did not replace it. I returned from talking to family to find her on a gurney in a hallway filled with unmasked people. I replaced her mask.

She was admitted and 2 days later she was COVID+ . She declined very quickly after that.

There’s no legitimate excuse.

It’s wild to be looking at houses where you grew up and seeing that in no way could you afford to go home again.

I recently turned down a project for a carbon credit company. I know the folks involved and they are all really good people with the best intentions, but I don't think this is what we should be selling. We need real change immediately, not band aids to cover the boo boos we've inflicted on our planet.

This is an issue that I would love to see fixed, so when on mobile I could click an X or swipe and remove the alt text view. Long descriptions obliterate the image they’re meant to describe. I can read the cartoon description, but I can’t really see it.

To be clear, I add alt text routinely. This isn’t a complaint about alt text, just how it renders on a smaller mobile screen.

After a week of hospitalization and 3 surgeries, I just learned that my mom has advanced #cancer. We’re now making end of life plans for her. My sister and I both work. I own a business, so my time off is unpaid. Our mom, who is low income (despite being one of the first computer programmers in the US and retired as such), was denied by United #Healthcare a visiting nurse to help her manage meds and a catheter until a #hospice bed comes available.

It’s harder every day to love my country. 🇺🇸

This is how #democracy is lost. Chickenshit businesses capitulate to threats and harassment instead of fighting back. So disappointed in you #Target!
