I see many science and tech organizations opting in and a push to make it the backbone of the academic world.

I think some media outlets are trying to portray it as "uncool" and "nerdy" in the same way that Google plus fizzled out since it was mostly just a space for Google engineers and hence had limited cultural offerings.

As an artist I feel the fact that this place is about to blow up makes it a good place to set up camp in for the long haul.
