Fasica Gebrekidan worked as a content moderator for Meta via Sama in Nairobi, Kenya for 2 years, until she was laid off for attempting to form a data workers’ union. Her heartbreaking report is on the unimaginable toll of both experiencing #TigrayGenocide AND moderating content related to it. Imagine. She discusses mental health issues and drug abuse.

Friends, I haven't read the Chuck Schumer "report" on AI. Why should I? I knew where it was headed by seeing who they invited (and when they tried to invite me as a back fill/window dressing) & the fact that he asked people what their "p(doom)" was *shudder*. My whole life is not centered around commenting on what all these ridiculous people are doing. For that, I've written a very detailed paper with Emile P. Torres that you can refer to. They keep on wasting our times with all this. We knew this was what it was going to end up in. Did you see who was invited and what their topics were? The senator referred to "god like AI." Him and his likes are 100% captured by the TESCREALists which should tell us what policy they would come up with.

Not even 24 hrs after making history as the first company to mass fire workers for pro-Palestine protests, by summarily firing 28 people, Google announced that the “(ir)responsible AI org,” the one they created in response to firing me, is now reporting up the Israeli office, through an SVP there.

Seems like they want us to know how forcefully and clearly they are backing this genocide.

$660M crypto money to “save humanity from the existential risk of AI.” Same people wrote a few years ago how “without AI we are doomed.” Selling utopia and apocalypse for billions. No one knows how to circle money amongst themselves like these people.
