LLM based "AI" is godawful and will never truly work and will harm people with its brokenness. You can just... not build it, and not use it, and the world will be a better place. You can do literally nothing and have a positive impact.

In practice, that means the show gets recorded clean, or with short bumpers before/after the ads. When you download an episode, the podcast ad provider dynamically inserts ads into the audio.
And most of these services include the URL for the clean audio in their own URL. Which means that stripping all the crap out gives you an episode with less (or no!) ads, and podcast adtech shitheels have no idea.
