Pro tip for podcast listeners: A lot of shows have dynamic ads now. In practice, that means the show gets recorded clean, or with short bumpers before/after the ads. When you download an episode, the podcast ad provider dynamically inserts ads into the audio.
And most of these services include the URL for the clean audio in their own URL. Which means that stripping all the crap out gives you an episode with less (or no!) ads, and podcast adtech shitheels have no idea.
