I like obscure anime though. Have you seen Shiawase sou no okojosan? It’s obscure enough that only the first couple episodes ever got a fan sub afaik.

@Nudhul @feralbot @PhenomX6 In use, people make an exception for faces. Almost all of what I’ve seen “feral” applied to has at least an anthropomorphized face, not to the extant of “lite furry” stuff but still a step above a-picture-of-a-dog.

“Feral” might not have been the most apt choice for it, but there was a desire for a term to grade anthropomorphism beyond just the literal word, which technically applies to virtually everything.

@PhenomX6 @feralbot It’s interesting how far “feral” has shifted in meaning inside of furry circles; it’s basically jargon at this point, closer to “on-model” than “wild or dangerous” in meaning.
