Surveillance footage of the self-driving Tesla that abruptly STOPPED on the Bay Bridge, resulting in an eight-vehicle crash that injured 9 people including a 2 yr old child just hours after Musk announced the self-driving feature.
#Elon wanting #Substack further confirms he's waging a war on #journalism. Substack is a leading resource for hosting written content and him owning it would further cripple journalists ability to share their stories. It has the same fatal flaw as #twitter though, it's centralized. In this new era, I believe journalists will need to host their own content on places like #Mastodon or even #Wordpress to not be under constant threat of being deplatformed.
The author would never respond to my questions, and actually deleted almost all her tweets about the story shortly after this came out. I'm proud of my work here, which was greatly improved by @gabrielarana's editing and support. While I know this is a drop in the ocean when it comes to bad #journalism about trans folks, I'm glad that TXO gives me a platform to push back from time to time.
