The minimal version of Debian Linux 12/11 does not install sudo. When performing a network installation for Debian, the usual approach is to use the minimum version, which only installs the essential packages. Most Linux container images based upon Debian also skip sudo, and if your project needs sudo, then read on how to install and configure sudo and grant access to a user on a Debian Linux version 12/11. https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/how-to-create-a-sudo-user-on-ubuntu-linux-server/#linux#sysadmin#debian
I have news! Beginning next month, I'll once again be shining a big, bright spotlight on #Linux and #OpenSource at Forbes, essentially picking up where I left off in 2022. (This time around there will be some added emphasis on Linux-powered handheld and desktop gaming.)
Thankfully, this is a calling I can't seem to escape, and I'm ridiculously excited to bring some mainstream attention to all the projects, distros, games, and ideas -- large and small -- in this amazing community.
🚀 Ready to dive into the next gen of container management? 💻 Incus, a free and open-source platform forked from LXD, is here to supercharge your workflow! ⚡️ It's not just for containers – you can manage virtual machines too! 🤯 Let's get Incus installed on #Debian#Linux 11 or 12 and start deploying containers and VMs for all the fun and profit you can handle. 💪 https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/setup-install-configure-incus-server-debian-linux-12-11/

So you want to try Arch Linux, but you also want to have a basic desktop from the start?
I would recommend EndeavourOS and Manjaro Linux.
Both will give you that "out of the box, ready to go" experience right after install. EndeavourOS will be the real-time, bleeding edge, rolling release, and good if you plan on using AUR. Manjaro Linux will give you that slower release cycle, and ideally is better if you're sticking to using repos.
