1/5: 1 star-1 star for still being under copyright=0 stars On the surface, it reads like you're reading an 'ebooks' bot twitter feed. Yet another book that starts from Freud, and tries to reason from there, though unlike some of the other ones, it doesn't seem to even try to be rational and sane. It's an insane book from an insane man, living in an insane place, during an insane era. I think, unlike E Michael Jones, Ballard is trying to go *through* the 'spirit of the 60s', rather than recoil in horror from it. It might make a good U-mode book to read alongside Baudrillard.
