@genmaicha @kaia @ringo yeah false idol seems more accurate. I would say that those who think every problem is just waiting for an AI solution are obviously idolizing it, but I also think that fearing it can be a form of idolizing it (albeit not idol worship at that point). Like being afraid that an angry local spirit is going to cause a drought.
