Of the ones I recognize, my favorites there are Mimikyu and Maskernya. Actually really like the new starters, other than the water one (which is unusual, because I like water types a lot, and also really like birds, but the first form is a little plain, and the last form doesn't appeal to me). Maskernya is probably the favorite. Though the fire one is great, it's basically a Bubble Bobble character that turns into a big fire alligator, which is awesome. Both of them also have very good hidden abilities.

Fuck hidden abilities, by the way, hate that shit. Just give me the good abilities. Having the bad ability makes me not even want to use the starters. I don't know if you can change a poke's abilities nowadays, but you should be able to if you can't. Hell, a lot of hidden abilities are entirely unavailable in the games themselves, and it's fucking bullshit.

If you play gen 5 now, you can't get the good versions of a lot of pokes because those online minigames are unavailable now. Also impossible to get event-only stuff. Fuck events too, everything should be catchable in the game, and I mean game, because version exclusives are bullshit too, there should be one version of the game, not two, and especially not three. Fuck DLC too. Whole lot of anger in a comment that was initially positive, but that's how it goes with Gamefreak.
