@Jens_Rasmussen The money is paid as a bribe to not attack pissrael and to pacify their restive populaces. The rulers of Egypt and Jordan are corrupt, not stupid. They know that an influx of Palestinian refugees would be fertilizer for islamist uprisings in their own countries, and they would be the first ones targeted.
