Not really, it's not the first time that something potentially good but with massive red flags was made, then the devs sink a knife in your back and tell you you're not welcome just because you said "nigger" somewhere in the comments section of some obscure blog 20 years ago for example.
Which is why I'm rather careful with who I trust these days.
