I really wanted to join AsiaBSDCon, but after seeing this statement, I've forever lost my interest:

Translation:

So basically, they're flat out saying "fuck off and stay away" to pretty much their entire userbase.
And so I won't come, neither this year, nor any future events.
Not going to submit to a bunch of power tripping authoritarians!
No reasonable person would ever go to AsiaBSDCon after this.
