You have no idea how hard I laught at that bafoon.
First he rightfully so doesn't like to be enslaved to an EULA of an operating system, only to then not like the fact you can't get enslaved to EULAs of proprietary software on Linux.
And mentioning the fact that there's no Adobe on Linux really shows how deep the Adobe brainwashing goes.
Sure, you can't run them natively, and alternative software don't have all the features that are exclusive to Adobe, but guess what?
You don't even need any of these features, at least 99.999999% of the professionals out there don't.
I've done all my image editing on GIMP (nowadays I throw Krita into the mix as well, because I like them both in their own respect) throughout my entire time using a computer, I've done all my video editing on (and this might be controversial to some) Kdenlive, I did some vector editing in InkScape, but I almost never needed to do so, I used email in many clients like Thunderbird, Evolution, K-Mail, Claws Mail, (neo)mutt, and many others throughout the past 25+ years.
With the exception of the PDF file format (which isn't even controlled by Adobe anymore anyway), I've never touched a single Adobe product ever, and yet I can get my creative work done just fine (I only can't make myself any business cards, because every single printer only accepts .ai (Adobe Illustrator) files).
So it's really not like you need Adobe products, you've been brainwashed into "needing" Adobe products.
