The process of decline takes about a full generation to really set in. So civilizational standards withered away in the 1960s, but we still managed to have a few decades of fruitful culture before the rot fully set in and we began to witness cultural stagnation. According to Unwin it takes 3 full generations for the civilization to totally collapse, so we may well see a few more decades of this shit worsening.
