Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks@synapsid @IAMAL_PHARIUS I’m actually so jaded after watching all that gopro combat footage that I almost don’t even think it matters at this point. 95% of “firefights” are just aiming at the scenery and spraying lead, then disengaging or calling it a victory when nobody’s shooting back anymore.
It’s cool to train and all, I just don’t know what form the future will take for these things. Ordered battles? UN invasion? Demonic plague? coast to coast south africa? I truly can’t tell which is the most likely anymore. Most enemies will probably be panicky 80IQ -oids so…..
But after seeing how little small arms apparently matter in the big leagues (i.e. they’re basically fire works to scare away pedestrians from your positions) I’m not as demanding of rifleman’s skills for the average amerifat.
(I’m mostly kidding but there’s a kernel of truth there, I guess)
