     Shameless self promotion. 😆 It mostly works, and has highlighters for a couple languages, and has very few undo bugs now. I daily drive it. I got sick of KWrite getting worse with every release and said "fuck it" and spent about 3 solid months to get it to a semi-usable state, at which point the dogfooding started.

     The main benefit is that the commands file is highly configurable. Another benefit is that it doesn't load windows-style line endings correctly because I'm too lazy to fix something that I rarely encounter.

     @MK2boogaloo even though it is unsupported, I just use Atom, and just the basic version at that.
     
     Sometimes FeatherPad as well.
     
     nano for terminal stuff.
     
     Honestly, even though I have some nice paid tools, I find myself just using simple stuff most of the time xD
