idk if enough people appreciate the double-sided nature of #AI Dogshit and search engines/info companies. It's a classic grift: invent the disease and sell the cure.

Making tools to generate massive amounts of fake information is actually great for business, because then only Google and Microsoft can afford to invest in filtering it from their search results. So they win both ways: chat AI can feed you bad info, but you can still only access good info through them.
