     But exchange rates are not everything. If you live in the US and earn in dollars, you also pay in dollars. Looking at the current prices of various goods and services… probably only gasoline is cheaper in the US, but housing, insurance, medicines are more expensive. One dollar for someone living in the US is like one zloty for someone living in Poland.

     @smigol @PhenomX6 when i visited poland (to visit family in ukraine before the war), the price difference of everything was impressive; our GBP could take us a lot further in poland. 27 gbp per person for a michelin star meal (about 100 quid in england) was wild
