It was a dream about a magical girl anime. It started off like a normal magical girl anime, with a happy-go-lucky protagonist who's magical weapon is a spear and a peach themed magical dress, but the main villain introduced herself to the protagonist in a friendly manner.
From there, it's all normal, with the villain summoning monsters who try to kill or eat civilians, and the protagonist appearing to protect the civilians.
About 1/3rd of the way through the anime however, things take a dark turn, as the villain had been stalking the protagonist whenever she isn't in her magical girl form, and the villain puts her plan into action.
First, the villain attacks the protagonist's home while she is away, killing her mother and three little brothers with White Phosphorous. When the protagonist gets home and sees her house had been burned down, she asks a fireman what had happened, he informs her that someone threw a bunch of White Phosphorous into the house and burned her family alive, and she quickly realizes it was the doing of the villain and swears revenge.
A few episodes later, the villain figures out who the main character's best friend is. She then forces the best friend to wear a remote detonated bomb vest under her school uniform and, once everyone was in class, take her shirt off and reveal the vest.
Using an earpiece to speak through the best friend, the villain gives the protagonist two options. Kill the best friend herself, or the vest goes off killing everyone in the classroom (except the protagonist, who's magical powers would protect her.)
After some begging from the best friend who doesn't want more people than necessary to die, the protagonist reluctantly grabs a knife and slits her best friend's throat, and the villain lives up to her end of the deal, disarming the bomb vest. The protagonist, who is EXTREMELY close to her breaking point now, falls to her knees and cries so hard that she vomits.
Few episodes later, it is shown that the protagonist, who shows no signs of being the happy-go-lucky girl she once was, has rented a small apartment and has gotten a part time job to pay her bills.
Meanwhile, the villain has decided to launch an all out assault on the whole city, forcing the protagonist to go out and defend it against way more monsters than she has every faced. She manages to defeat all the monsters in 2 hours and 38 minutes after the monsters had wrecked the city.
The next day, she receives a newspaper with the casualty numbers, which were pretty high. Protecting people was all she had left, and she had failed even that. At this point, she collapses on the floor, hugging herself and crying as the last bit of hope in her heart leaves her.
A few episodes later, the protagonist confronts the villain and doesn't hold back AT ALL. She lets loose her full despair and anger at the villain, eventually stabbing her in the chest. When asked why the villain did it, the villain reveals herself as a future version of the protagonist who had fallen into darkness by accident. The reason she did it was to make the protagonist fall into an even deeper darkness, and killing the villain was the last step.
The protagonist then finishes the villain off, and she does "fall into darkness", as her entire outfit's theme changes to a black theme.
However, it wasn't quite the darkness that the villain was hoping for, as instead of becoming a villain herself, the protagonist just takes on an EXTREMELY jaded personality. She also continues to save people, but often demands a reward of some kind. She even takes advantage of her magical girl form's immunity to most poisons to smoke and drink (Often forcing employees to sell her cigarettes and beer at spear point.)
The anime ends with her moving to a different town and transferring to a different school.
So that was my dream yesterday night. Not sure if I explained it well enough, but it was an oddly detailed dream :senko_shock2:-

Was she a loli? And, if so, what color were her panties? Did she have her first periods yet? How breedable was she?
