   Soon I'll have a few extra VPS instances that have lots of processing and network bandwidth but limited storage capacity. I don't want to delete them because I'm grandfathered in at a cheap price, but I also don't want to idle them. What are some productive/fun ways that I could use these VPS instances?

     @Graycot Try a SearX instance, or depending on how limited the space is YaCy or something else that can have its own index.

     If you don’t mind me taking a few guesses, did it have anything to do with memory consumption? Process lockup? CPU usage woes? <–anything at all relating to the fact that YaCy has (poorly) chosen to be written in Java?…

     @wrongthink I used to have a searx instance available to the public, but it quickly resulted in search engines blacklisting my instance :/

     YaCy is a cool project. I ran an instance of it a while back, and I forgot why I shut it down. I think I'll spin up another instance of it as well :)
