     Are webm any better or worse? than mp4, or rather what is the best format for clips?
     
     I'm finding with webm that no one ever complains they cannot see them. I think that's a browser thing acting up every now and then with mp4 though.

     WEBMs won't be able to play for iOS users. There are sometimes problems with how some MP4s are encoded as well, but if you use something like Handbrake it should work fine. The viewing limitation on some browsers for MP4s is just due to a browser not supporting the codec, I believe. There are a lot of moving parts but MP4 is your best bet for videos.

     You can upload up to 100 MB files here, but very large GIFs cause the backend to freak out because it's trying to process how to display it in the feed. I should create an issue on the repository for it. You can use ezgif.com to compress it and you likely won't lose any quality as GIFs are low quality as is.

     That was it put through ezgif to compress. It was even larger before I prefer to keep to 20 or under, even lengthy clips and vid can be giffed and look just fine without them being half that size.

     OK just tried uploading the gif and noticed it was nearly 40mb 😊 . That's my fault. Given the nigger posted just fine this time I think it was just some random thing on my part.
     
     Thanks, chief. I'll keep an eye on the size of these file before I post that's ridiculous in size for a simple hedgehog gif. 🫡

     Latest one said 'server's borked' and two previous said timed out due to some ort of error. I can try replicate it and get screen shots if that'll help?
