     @mactonite If it was merely that then I'd be a little hesitant. He comes into arguments equipped with tangentially related articles. Rather recently, an argument he was in went something like this:
     
     Guy: "China steals American tech."
     PP: "What about all these times that China technically didn't steal tech?"
     Lots of people: "You're an idiot."
     PP: "No, here's a long list of articles about all these times China technically didn't steal technology. You can't say these things which I brought up just now are China stealing tech."
     
     He might actually be a Chinese shill, a genuine 50-center. I now deeply regret the kindness and patience I've shown to him. :dead_inside:

     @mactonite He's been getting progressively worse - he's been routinely spouting honestly quite bizarre claims, I think that he might be in the hands of a malicious handler. He's very much on the commie track, which is one of those where hope of redemption is faint (honestly worse than for pedophiles).
